The Art of “Blagging”: Terror Raids and Terrorism

May 31, 2009

Saiful Islam

Okay, I’m going to be “radical” (out of the norm/challenging the status quo/the man with the dogs… you get the idea) today. I’m gona speak that which is in the hearts of many but does not spout forth beyond their necks.

Every one of the “raids”, “terrorist attacks”, and “terror arrests” is a hoax or, in the words of the Sparkhillian from Brum, “BLAG” designed to direct the masses into a frenzy thereby massaging the public into an opinion which fits the agenda of the neocon/zionist/freaks of this world. Yep, its all a blag.

Direct and Indirect Dawah

May 28, 2009

What do you think of when you say dawah?

It must mean a lecture or a talk to someone? A reminder short and sweet? A nasheed which touches the heart? A poem which stirs the emotion?

How about just being a Muslim? “What? Just be a Muslim?” Yes. Just be a Muslim? But how will we pass a message on if we don’t talk? Hmmm… well it’s not about talking the message… it’s about being the message. Holding it not only for the ten minute talk! But being that talk, believing the talk and doing the talk.

Think I’m just chatting it?

The “Crusade” manifests…

May 25, 2009

“This crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take a while.”

George W. Bush

I’m not ready?

May 21, 2009

*WARNING* These blogs are reminders to myself and ideas that I want to share- if you have the emotional intelligence of a 5 year old don’t read this!

No this ain’t about Playstation 3 or a Nintendo Wii… nor is it about going out and a family member is taking ages… Putting on the brill cream the coco butter, eyeliner, mascara, ironing your thobe for the tenth time, taking forty minutes in the toilet…cos they’re reading Harry Potter or Okay magazine…you know who you are……. This is about marriage.
Every 21-26 drops this line.’ I WOULD BUTTTTTT…IM NOT READY!’ Man, come to think of it.. I actually drop it too!

But is this true? Is this my understanding of Deen speaking? My context speaking? Or is this my naffs? Is this another delusion from Shaytan who is stopping me from fulfilling half of my Deen? What is this line and what does it mean?

Imitations – Pageants, Morals and Islam…

May 16, 2009

By Saiful Islam

Why? Why do Muslims IN THE MUSLIM WORLD feel an inferiority complex such that they console themselves in imitating the West? What is wrong with the Muslims?  Is Islam not complete?

Muslims have been making grave mistakes in adopting foreign cultures which have numerous well known problems the first being the confusion of self identity and more importantly and from which the first problem stems from, the obscurant perspective on what to take as source of guidance.  But it seems this confusion has reached new heights with a “Miss Beautiful Morals” pageant in Saudi Arabia.  I mean, this is really taking what we Brits call “the mick”.

Aside from the Fiqhi issue of imitating an event which promotes immorality and which is practised in countries promoting sexual laxity, Muslim women are being weaned off a culture alien to Islam.  What is the point of such a pageant in the first place?  Everything should have a purpose, and what exactly would such a pageant serve to prove?  If it is argued that it is to increase morality then this is an absurdity.  Firstly, because of the public attention (in this case limited to women) there is a fear that such deeds would be done for reasons other then for the sake of Allah.  In other words it would contribute to the spiritual disease of the heart further confounding the already decadent state of Muslims.

Women will serve their parents, observe their obligations towards Allah and His Messenger Sallalahu Alayhi Wassalam not for the sake of Allah, but to win some petty reward in the Dunya. Is this the attitude that is wished to be promoted?  Are Muslims so intellectually starved that they have to resort to mechanisms and methods which are foreign to their religion? What surfaces from such antics is the inferiority complex which is underlying the psychology of Muslims today.  Muslims forget that their source of guidance is Allah and His Messenger only, not nations whose paradigms constantly change to suit their whimsical desires. Take for example the indigenous female Africans who walked bare-breasted.  To the “progressed” west this was a sign of “backwardness” or them being “primitive”.  However, today the very same nations advocate skimpy clothes and nude beaches as being a mark of freedom and “progression”.  How can something as unstable as the human mind formulate the guidance for man to lead his life?

And this is something which Muslims need to recognise.  The glitter which is marketed to Muslims as progression has inherent within it epistemological biases which destroy as oppose to assist the development of Muslim communities.

This by no means insinuates that literally everything in the West is bad.  However, everything that is rooted in any ideology or thought pattern outside the ambit of that which is laid down by Allah and His Messenger Sallalahu Alayhi Wassalam is to be judged according to their criteria first, before being given admission into a life of a Muslim.

Typical Times article…

On a completely different note, let us have a look at Times coughing up the usual spate anti-Islam reporting.  In the very same article you have the report of the pageant taking place in Saudi. Then out of the blue you have the “smear-the-Muslims-newsreports-even-though-it-doesn’t-have-anything-to-do-with-the-current-report” paragraph.  Their intentions to do defame Islam in everyway are disgusting. Let me provide an example to illustrate this ridiculousness:

“UK is to have its first “covering up fashion show”.  Unlike other competitions in the world, women will be encouraged to cover up rather than dress up as prostitutes giving an open initiation to rape.

”The UK has little or no law governing lewdness in dress code.  The UK has one of the highest rape rates.  It is the same country where a father repeatedly raped his two daughters which resulted in 19 pregnancies.  In 2007 there were a total of 4,376 abortions girls aged less than 16 years. Men are having to resort to intimacy with fences in order to curb their desires aroused by scantly clad women.

The fashion show may not light the trousers on fire, but the girls’ contest is a marked improvement on the only other previous pageants held in the UK, which were for turning women into objects of desire for men to gawp at….”

I think you get the picture.

Gitmo Detainee’s ‘Genitals Were Sliced With A Scalpel,’ Waterboarding ‘Far Down The List Of Things They Did’

May 14, 2009

The great Western Democracies who suppose to be spearheading their version of rights and wrongs on the world, it appears, as always, cannot adhere to their own ideals.

The spineless accomplices to the crimes in GITMO have yet to be brought to accountability, nevertheless the truly horrigying realities are starting to surface.

According to the Daily Telegraph, MI6 officers were involved in the following gruesome acts:

“The 25 lines edited out of the court papers contained details of how Mr Mohamed’s genitals were sliced with a scalpel and other torture methods so extreme that waterboarding, the controversial technique of simulated drowning, “is very far down the list of things they did,” the official said.

Another source familiar with the case said: “British intelligence officers knew about the torture and didn’t do anything about it.”

This, from the great “civilised” West.
